Phonebook

Enter names and numbers

The characters that you can enter, are written above each key.

Use the keypad to write text. The following explains how to write

text when you add a new name in the Phonebook menu.

Example (to write SMITH):

The marked character is selected after a time out or when another

key is pressed.

7 7 7 7 Press for S

6 Press for M

4 4 4 Press for I

8 Press for T

4 4 Press for H

ã Press when the name is complete.

Control keys

While entering a name or a number you can use the following keys

for control and navigation:

à Press to move left.

á Press to move right.

* Press to switch between upper and lower case.

Note: It is possible to turn on/off the tone sender in a

predialed number by making a long press on the

* key (e.g.

when calling telephone banks). Tone sender on will be

indicated with a

in the number, and off with

0 Press to enter a space.

C Press to correct a wrong entry (see display).

Note: Deletes the entire entry if held longer.
